And with that, the 2024 season comes to an end!

A last-minute Chiefs field goal seals the deal, so congratulations to our Elimination League champion, Trent, who takes home $800! Lane and Lance share second place, each walking away with $100. Not bad for a $5 investment! ;)

Thank you all for playing. With 96% of the league eliminated by Week 3, it was a short season for most, but I truly hope to see everyone back in 2025!

The Last Three Standing....Week 6

Lance and Lane are betting on the Atlanta Falcons, while Trent's got his money on the Cheeseheads.

If Atlanta loses and Green Bay wins, Trent will take home the 1st place pot, with Lance and Lane splitting the 2nd place pot. If Green Bay loses and Atlanta wins, it’ll be a thrilling Lance and Lane showdown in Week 7. And if both teams lose, the pot will be split evenly among the trio, setting a new record for the shortest Eliminator League to date!

Of course, if both teams win, we’ll just carry on this football song and dance.

Week 4 Results - 2024 Eliminator League

Week 4 is over and once again, the league has been cut in half!

Philadelphia fell short against Tampa Bay, while Pittsburgh endured their first loss of the season to the Colts. In a heartbreaking turn of events, the NY Jets missed a late field goal, suffering a gut-wrenching loss by just 1 point. Unfortunately, this marks the end of the road for Bill, Dean L., Cliff, and Steve G.

On a brighter note, Dallas managed to hold off the Giants, and San Francisco secured a decisive victory over the Patriots. Congratulations to Mike, Lance, Lane, and Trent, who are moving on to Week 5!

With the unpredictability of this season, we wish you all the best—may the odds be ever in your favor!

Another unbelievable week in this year's Eliminator League! Both of the top two teams, Tampa Bay and Las Vegas, faced unexpected upsets, eliminating 30 players. With Cincinnati, Cleveland, and the Chargers also falling, we’re down to just 8 players heading into Week 4!

We will have to see what happens in the coming weeks, but this may be the shortest season in Eliminator League history!!

Weel 2 Results - 2024 Eliminator League

Well, Week 2 threw us for a loop—more than half the picked teams crashed and burned, including Baltimore, which was a hot favorite! We've already whittled down from 200 players to just 48 in two weeks... yikes! And guess what? The Vikings, who were written off by many (including me!), would have been a sneaky good pick after all!

Unfortunately, Week 1 has become a swift exit for many in the league. Cincinnati's shocking upset has caused a major shakeup, eliminating 83 of our 200 players right off the bat! We are moving onto next week with 108 players.

Who's excited for football!?

Welcome to Year 14 of our league with a total of 200 players this season!

🏈 Payout Structure: There will be 100% payout of the $1,000 pot. The top performer will take home 80% ($800), while the runner-up will earn 20% ($200).

🏈 Weekly Updates: After the kickoff of the first game each week, I’ll send out an email with a link to the player/team spreadsheet. Expect an update with the weekly results on Tuesday.

🏈 Important Note: This is a manually managed system. If you spot any errors, please text or email me, and I’ll address the issue as promptly as I can.

🏈 Rule Refresher:

Choose one team to win each week. If your team wins, you're in for the next week; if not, you're out.
Once you select a team, it cannot be chosen again throughout the season.
Each player must make their own pick. Picks cannot be made for others, including spouses, family members, etc. Children participating must be able to read and select from the list of teams.
Picks must be submitted before the kickoff of the first game each week. Check the schedule and ensure your pick is in on time. No reminders will be issued. Late picks will be considered a loss.
In case of a tie, it will count as a loss.
The last two players remaining win the pot, with 80% going to the first place and 20% to the second place. If there’s a tie at the end of the season, the pot will be split among the tied players.
