The eliminator league ended abruptly with the Kansas City loss yesterday ....  in overtime no less! just crazy!!!!!   So ....   Matt Carlson you are the big winner with your Jacksonville pick!!!!

Before we get to the results I wanted to update everyone that the week 2 picks actually had only 1 "no pick" instead of 3 that was initially listed.   The two players sent in their pick Tuesday and I missed the email and didn't get the text. Screen shots confirmed they were sent and the week 2 picks post was updated.

Now on to the results .....   Week 2 didn't do much damage for the remaining players and the Vikes weren't much fun to watch.  We lost 6 players in week 2 bringing the players left at 149.

For those that remain, on to week 3 -   It's fun to hear about everyone's strategies ....  Do you already have all your picks planned out for each week? ....   Are you going week to week?   Do you wait til the last minute so you know every injury? ...  Last year I think someone's strategy was to pick whoever was playing the Browns lol   ...    Whatever your strategy is, good luck in week 3!

Payout: We have a 100% payout - Ist place will receive 80% of the winnings ($808) and 2nd place receives 20% of the winnings ($202)
In the event of a tie at the end of the regular season (i.e. whoever is left all win the last regular season game or whoever is left all lose) they will split the pot.

Weekly Updates: The player/game spreadsheet is updated and an email sent out each week with everyone's picks just after kick off of the first game of the week (after i've had time to put everyone's picks on the spreadsheet)

General Rules:

• Everyone paying must have paid their $5 PRIOR to the first game.  No exceptions.
• Prior to the first game of the NFL league you need to pick one team to win their game.
• Once you pick a team you can't pick them again in the future/You pick each team 1 time only 
• The team you pick that week must win that game to move on to the next week.
• If you win your game you are still in the league.   If you lose your game you are eliminated.
• Tie game = loss
• Picks must be submitted PRIOR to kickoff of 1st game of each week - most weeks have Thursday games.  Players are responsible for knowing when the games are.
• The last two people left in the league win the pot (80% first and 20% second) - 100% payout
• Each player must pick their own team - you can't pick for your spouse, significant other, family members, children, etc.  
• Children playing must be able to read and pick from all the teams playing each week

1. The league is too big to send out reminders to get your picks in. Picks not received PRIOR to kickoff of the first game for that week it is a loss - no exceptions - 
2. When you submit your pick (via text or email) I will respond back so you know I received it.   If it is during the work day; I may not respond until my lunch break.

It's a wrap!    With both Seattle and Atlanta winning today week 17 closes with Lindsey and Nicole splitting the $965 pot so each walks away with a sweet $482.50!    Happy New Year to both of you!!!!
